    Radiohead opened for VH in 2002? I find it hard to believe that with the fanbase Radiohead has these days they would feel the need to open for anyone, much less an aging over-the-hill heavy metal band....

    I went to see Van Halen on this past tour. I have never been a big fan, but through the members of this Forum, I wanted to see what I'd been missing. I thought the band was pretty good, and Eddie is amazing, his solo was easily the best part of the show.
    What blew me away was all the booze on stage. Sammy and Mike were doing shots of Jack Daniels & Tequila during the show. The audience was also very drunk, it felt like a concert from the 70's, I couldn't believe how messed up every one was.
    No wonder Eddie slipped off the wagon, with all the good support he has in the band.

    Yeah - I think it was just a chance to bash Radiohead. Well, he didn't succeed. :righton:
