I didn’t want to take a chance and ordered the vinyl set from Germany. I waited too long to place my order from Amazon when the CD version came out, and it never came back in stock.

 

Why is this so much more expensive than Germany and France?
And why the heck can’t they sell this in the states?!

 

We do that so they get used to life post-Brexit: everything from Europe will cost twice as much

 

Just received an email from UMe announcing this, US price is $199.99, probably will be cheaper eventually on Amazon USA.

July 12 release date.

Amazon France pricing looks real good at this point.

How long does it take to hit your card? Never purchased from an international seller before and all I see is a $1.14 pending charge, nothing else

 

If it's Amazon, although I've heard they've rolled out some changes internationally on how they charge, previously it wouldn't charge until it ships.

I ordered from Amazon France after it went OOS. They sent me an email with an estimated shipping date of 7/11-7/13.

 

You get the same price @Daniel Plainview ? I don't know why it came out cheaper than others

I got hit with import fees by Amazon France in the amount of EUR 11,41, but still a deal compared to the US pricing mentioned above.

 

I ordered mine from Amazon France on the 23rd, before it went out of stock, and it still hasn't shipped. The website says "En cours d'acheminement 8 juillet", and next to my order it says " Livraison prévue entre le 5 juil. et le 8 juil" so I'm not sure what to expect.

 

Yeah, I guess I shouldn't be too excited until it actually ships.

 

I'll assume it's the same digital master as the CDs.

 

Amazon.fr just notified me that they moved my delivery estimate (in the US) from a vague 7/19-8/5 to a narrow 7/11-7/13, so that's a very good sign. Order was placed 6/25.

 

My cousin told me she went to every night if this run and the club was pretty empty.

 

So Lo-fi -> Digital -> Vinyl.

What's the point?

 

If the cds and vinyl are both mastered from high-res files, the vinyl will retain more information than the cds.

 

The point is that the music is great! And sounds fine too IMO.

 

Why not just buy the high-res digial version? Or the CD?

 

Do we have to have this debate in every. single. thread.?

 

I don't think there is a high-res digital version?
And I do own and like the 4cd set.
