More large auctions are coming up the end of this year (2023).
I was watching that auction. I couldn't believe the end result on The Beatles Second album US sealed copy. Didn't notice the Smiths one! A few of us have been discussing it, offline, over beers for awhile now. Most people don't get it, but I keep telling them you need to forget about these as normal records that you buy to play.
They will probably really take off once there's a clear, established leader of the grading companies.
