    Leo De Gar Kulka at Golden State Recorders in San Francisco, where the Beau Brummels, the Syndicate of Sound, the Great Society, the Grateful Dead, etc. etc. recorded. Sly Stone was a house producer at GSR too.

    I got to visit Leo at the studio in the late '80s, and he was extremely nice.

    A custom made Westrex, what would it be worth now?
    Academic though as unfortunately it was scrapped.

    Another pic, Bob Fine at his Scully lathe with customized Westrex head late 1950s, powered by 200w McIntosh amps for stereo cutting.
