We were mentioning how Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, David Crosby, Ringo Starr, and Roger Daltrey's vocals are still surprisingly good today. Can you think of others? Let's keep the thread positive and not bash those that have not held up as well.

Roger Daltrey's are at least partly due to corrective surgery correct?

James Taylor, Van Morrison and Jackson Browne. Assuming they qualify as vintage.

Alice Cooper. Ann Wilson. Midge Ure (probably better over time, in his case).

I know about 4 years ago Petula Clark put out an album and she was in her early mid-80's and it sounded well.

Al Jardine. I've seen him twice over the past several years (Beach Boys' 50th Anniversary Tour and the one some of them did with Jeff Beck).

He sounded EXACTLY the same as he did in 1965. No difference at all.

as far as the old geezers, I have to mention Paul Rogers, who sounded spectacular when I last saw him 2 years ago.

Tom for certain. I haven't heard Phil Collins sing in a long time. Good to know he still has it with him not being able to drum anymore.

I saw the O'Jays on Jools Holland a few years ago and they still had it. I don't know if we're counting full harmony singing groups here though.

Unfortunately, Phil is FAR from where he was. But he's a pro and knows how to use what he has without advertising his weaknesses.

When they did Daryl's house they sounded fine to me. Also Eddie Levert has gone through some awful family issues. And still puts his all into it.

Sadly both recently departed, but both had fine voices right up to the end: John Wetton and Glen Campbell.
