Wait… the new Predator Trailor has been seen HOW MANY TIMES?

Will this do better at the box office than The Meg or pot kettle ?

It'll be filled with mayhem like Predator is supposed to be only better special effects. Intelligent? that's funny...no truth in lies...

Snapped a pic of the standy at the movies recently. I have also seen a poster with the title stylized as 'Pred4tor.'

 

Mission Impossible: Fallout was pretty darn good.

 

Looks like there's a bit of thought in some of the posters compared with the previous Predator related films.

 

Box office : The Meg took a bit out of it apparently.

 

Apparently Shane Black wanted two film cuts the AM version and the PM version, I assume the PM version would be stronger. Cost another 2 mil, Studio passed

 

I noticed on Youtube the other day that there was a new trailer out for it, and after one day it had been watched over 87,000 times.
87,000 times!?
There must be a whole group of film buffs out there who just watch movie trailer videos.
Maybe they don't care what it is, maybe they watch them all?

 

87,000 would be ridiculously low for trailer views. The official 20th Century Fox trailer is at 7.5 million.

 

But that is an unofficial site, just a lone youtuber, with the trailer video only up for 1 day.

 

Looking forward to this. Pleased it's a 18 certificate,bloody brilliant hopefully.

After watching the total clusterduck that Black made of Iron Man 3 I'll pass probably.

 

Trailer satisfies me.

Eh, the subtitle thing is Resident Evil’s schtick (and has lately become the Alien films’ schtick as well—having trouble keeping the new ones straight or what they’re called).

Just got out of the theater having seen The Predator. It was fun in a way, but also patently ridiculous in a way the others weren’t. Director / co-writer Shane Black goes all out here with gore, language and offensive jokes, but there’s a forced feeling to a lot of this movie. It’s also as self-referential as all the sequels have been in this franchise, perhaps even more than ever.

By the end, with the big “boss fight”, I was rolling my eyes a bit. But there’s worse ways to kill a couple hours and ten bucks I guess.

Predator is a classic.
Predator 2 is very good.
Predators was okay.
The Predator is merely passable.

(Got a real Aliens Vs Predator 2 vibe from parts of this movie come to think of it).

Yeah a lot of night footage ( cheap budget).The Predator got his a kicked in the latest offering, Maybe the original cut was better till Black had to reshoot the last half. Hate to say it but I think Munn stole the film.
