I'm an early riser so I visited my Wal-Mart when they opened at 5AM. This is in San Gabriel Valley, CA, just outside of Los Angeles. There was almost no line of any kind to get in, and I was the only person interested in vinyl records. The first picture is of the display. The second is all of the non-sale-vinyl in the store. They had removed it from the floor so people wouldn't think all of the records were on sale. They were being kept at the counter. All the employees were flabbergasted at the low turnout for their Black Friday sale. I'm not sure what it means for the overall economy but it was really, really strange.
