Never. Just Christmas promotional photos of them. They have done a few Xmas songs in concert and that's about it.

Man, there should have been a Kiss Christmas album. A great idea even though Gene and Paul are Jewish. Christmas and Kiss are all about commercialism, it'd be a perfect match. It could be half classic Christmas songs done Kiss style, half original Christmas songs filled with double entendres.

Nor did it stop Streisand, Neil Diamond, Kenny G, Danny Kaye, or Percy Faith (who recorded two of the best orchestral Christmas music albums ever made).

I was thinking this same thing last week while listening to KROCK's annual KISSmas special.

Every year around this time Eddie Trunk plays a few hours of KISS music on KROCK and other affiliated radio stations. A delightful way to spend a few hours listening to deep cuts of the band.

This year Mike Piazza showed up at midnight very drunk from a Christmas Party. Mike started doing vocal impressions of Gene and Ace. Very funny!

While listening to the show I thought "Why didn't KISS do a Christmas song or Seasonal song?"

ANGEL did one (they were label mates).

Considering Gene covered "When You Wish Upon A Star" quite well, a Christmas song would have been a hoot!:D

Though I still like Kiss' early stuff, I think they should have retired after the reunion tour.
    Nowadays they sound awful.
    (specially their vocals)

Paddy and rock76. You've now peppered this KISS thread with multiple derogatory comments about the band. If you don't like them, you're certainly entitled to your opinion....but please refrain from further injections of negativity here. This is not a KISS bashing session. Thanks;)

I love Kiss but I'm not sure that a KIss Christmas album would have worked.

Why not? Slade did a Christmas song. I'm sure there are other heavy pop/glam bands that did as well. I'm not suggesting that it would be cool to hear KISS singing "Rudolph...", but I do think it would be awesome if they had written a bunch of catchy, snotty, X-mas songs of their own. How could they go wrong?

Did anyone else see the episode of Family Guy where they had the "KISS Saves Santa" Christmas special? IIRC, the band members actually did their own voices for the episode. Priceless!

Gene Simmons: "Someone stole Santa? THAT DOES NOT ROCK!"

    "To the KISScopter!"

A song or two wouldn't be a bad idea. I'm just not too sure about a whole album.
