    As mainstream covers go, Blinded by the Light by Manfred Mann is weird . . . not bad necessarily, but weird. From the substitution of “douche” for “deuce” to the Chopsticks finale, it borders on bizarre—especially since the original is a pretty straight-up rocker. What’s really weird is how big a hit it was. It was ok, but I think the douche-factor made it inordinately interesting to a certain element of the record buying public. Never underestimate the prurient interests of teenage boys.

    Soundgarden covered John Lennon's Two Minutes of silence. Soundgarden's version is called One Minute of Silence because they played it twice as fast. :)

    I'll have to keep on eye out for this....I love the pogues/popes!!!"NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS"is by far my favorite albums over multiple reissue's!some great punk covers are amazing too....U.K. SUBS DOING "SHE'S NOT THERE".....THE DAMNED DOING LOVE'S "7 AND 7 IS"!!
