However, I did! Psyche! Goodwill Wholesale Warehouse. Cost at .49 cents per pound? $3.18.

    Love it.

And I thought I did well years ago when I looked into the dumpster at my storage facility ( I was dumping some trash) and saw a perfectly good Sony Betamax player sitting on the bottom by itself. I took it home and it had a tape in it with recordings off of broadcast tv circa 1985. I never had a Betamax deck but I have one particular collectible pre-recorded Betamax tape (The Beatles - Let It Be) and it plays it fine.

Ahem. As I understand, this is the very first MPX capable tuner (whatever that means, but I know it used to be good. Ha!)

It was Scott's first stereo tuner, others needed an outboard MPX decoder. Very nice condition, hopefully the plastic dial won't be cracked or broken under the metal hold down.
