    15. 1975. Queen. $5.50.

My mom dropped my and my buddy off in front of the theatre before the show, and picked us up after. Because we weren’t old enough to drive.

5 years old when I went with my uncle to see Jimi Hendrix in Cleveland in March of 1968. I was already crazy about music by that point--supposedly I loved music even as a baby, and I'd already been pestering my folks for awhile to let me take drum lessons. They finally gave in shortly after my sixth birthday later that year.

early 60s... My dad took me to see Flatt and Scruggs because my mom did not want to go. I remember they played the theme from Beverly Hillbillies. I was around 10 or 11.

    I saw them 8/2/82...but I was 12 (but that didn't mean I didn't know every word to every song...including Supper's Ready!).

I was five years old when I saw a band playing very loud at Glen Echo Amusement Park in
Glen Echo, Maryland. My parents rushed me away from the bandstand as fast as they could,
but I remember distinctly the little guy playing that big bass fiddle like it was a guitar. I
found out decades later that the band was Link Wray & The Raymen. That would have been
in the Summer of 1959 when you could still get to the park via streetcar:

I assume this was not a gig with The Experience as the warm-up act.

Unfortunately the 5th Dimension was the opening act. Not that they aren't good, but in comparison...

  18. 15 - 1976, Frank Zappa @ RPI Fieldhouse in Troy, New York. Short lived band with Lady Bianca, a.k.a. Bianca Thornton, essentially the same setlist as the official Philly ‘76 release, great show and made me a lifetime Zappa fan. Still have the ticket stub from the concert.

    Station17 Time to play B-sides...

15...Iron Maiden with Queensryche at Radio City Music Hall in NYC in 1985...I remember that The Super Bowl was that freezing night...Bruce Dickenson was giving us the score every few songs-don’t think there were many football fans in the crowd, but Joe Montana was playing and he was big at the time. My dad drove me and two friends down from Mahopac in Putnam County. Within a month me and some other friends turned 16 and began driving ourselves to concerts...Thanks Dad! (I’ve always wondered where he was hanging out during the show...)
