I can't remember if I went to one before this, so I'll have to say seeing Chicago in Charlotte '95 (I was 19 or 20). Somehow I managed to get a front row center stage seat.

14, Santana in 2010. I was kind of dragged there and didn't feel like going to be honest. Ironically, Santana's currently one of my favorite bands.

I was 10 when I was taken to Wembley Arena in London in the deep snow of December to see my favourite band at the time - and they're still up there - ELO. Technically the first band I saw was support act Voyager who I enjoyed and went on to be a big fan of. The experience was overwhelming. I was so excited I think I peed about 10 ten times before the show started and peeing in Wembley back then definitely wasn't a convenience. Good show, not outstanding. Queen a few years later were the real mind-blowers.

I was 13 when I saw the Who play Tamarack Lodge in the Catskills in the Summer of 1968. Pete apologized for playing so loud as "they were not used to playing in someone's loo". Other acts playing the hotel that summer were Vanilla Fudge, Box Tops and Four Tops.

    6. Mom and Daddy took me and my brother to see The Smothers Brothers in 1962. We got to wear matching red tartan vests.

Only thing I remember about it...
Dicky: "When John Henry was a little baby, sittin' on his father's knee..."
Tommy: "Well, his daddy picked him up, and his daddy threw him down, and said...(spoken) This baby's wet all over me..."
    Hey - a joke! I got a joke...!
