I'm awfully fond of: LOU REED All good songs and Lou sings them well. Rather poorly produced, but with a nice friendly feel to it. A casual get together and a general closet-clearing exercise. Represents one direction he might have gone in: relatively sincere singer-songwriter. LEGENDARY HEARTS One great song after another until the last one. Great little band, with Quine still onboard (though mixed down). Lou as the average guy he sang about on his previous album, trying get comfortable with marriage and overcome the last of his many demons. ECSTASY I'm not always up for "Like A Possum," but otherwise I'm down with every song.
