Impossible, but here are five for this very minute.

    Executive Suite
    Tombstone
    The Usual Suspects
    Patton
    The Last Hurrah

  3. Today

    Alien
Captain America: Civil War-it has a distinct mid 70’s paranoids thriller vibe.
Apocalypse Now-I know that this is a messy masterpiece but messy Coppola is far more interesting to me than neat.
Notorious-Probably Hitch’s best 40’s film even if Cary Grant starts off as an *******.
Bride of Frankenstein-Camp, satire and horror all in a nice package. There’s some loony on the internet claiming that Karloff was a hack and that he deliberately sabotaged Lugosi’s career. This person is also claiming that Karloff slept his way to the top and only cruised on this and (and that he was a paedophile). Whatever Karloff’s proclivities (and the person also claims that Karloff was into BS&M...if he had willing participants, I don’t care). Pretty wacky stuff. I’m surprised that the Karloff estate hasn’t tried to shut it down.

That pretty much me too except I do have an absolute favorite film, Dr. Strangelove. I have come to love the bomb. I've seen it maybe as many as over 100 times but I'm still not tired of it. It's an amazing accomplishment to make such a funny film out of such a depressing subject, nuclear war. I've probably ingested way too much fluoride to have a clear mind, but I keep finding new tidbits with every additional viewing. ;)

"honorable mention": if teleplays counted as movies by most, one of my very favorite movies would be the original Playhouse 90 version of Requiem For A Heavyweight (Not the 1962 movie version).
