Electronic music. From a European perspective, any act with "DJ" as prefix raises a red flag due to the "eurodance"/aerobics trash acts of the 90s and 2000s that were inescapable. A miming blonde with fake breaks, a black Belgian rapper; usually high BPM covers of existing songs, just terrible in every way.

We ought to organize a class action lawsuit for the relative lack of attention given to singer-songwriter Gene Thomas. Prior to being 1/2 of the 1960s cult duo group Gene & Debbe (who occasionally are mentioned on this forum), Gene was a prolific genre-bending songwriter and solo artist.
