Simon & Garfunkel mono album mixes... mono single mixes... That would be such a dream come true, especially the 45 single mixes... As the music programmer for a local AM station, having all of those in their original mono mix glory from tape would be glorious instead of needledrops from 45s in the collection!

  7. Glenn Danzig releasing the Who Killed Marilyn? single. Never (why, I don't know)

Also the punk band The Necros will never have a CD out of their EPs and first LP - bitter infighting and some legal things attached to that, it will never happen, and as time passes, who cares anymore?

I wouldn't expect the first three Kraftwerk albums any time soon.

What's the deal with this exactly?
Fallout from Ginn's child abuse or just general laziness?
As a teenager I could always rely on most SST titles being in print and available cheaply nearby.

Jimmy Fernandez untimely death really - and understandably - got to Proper-Sheppard. So he dissolved the band in 1994 after the posthumously "One Last Laugh In A Place Of Dying..."

    He never looked back.

I think Stevie Wonder hasn't been mentioned so far.
Does that mean good news unknown to me yet?

It’s not a vast back catalog — just the one album — but the most obvious choice here is Buckingham Nicks.

I was referring to cd remasters of her catalog albums. Her catalog hasn’t been remastered in about 20 years on cd.In Japan there have been Blu spec editions of her first three albums but that’s it.

They reissued the CCR cds with a few bonus cuts about 5 or so years ago, but I agreed that any deluxe editions would be very unlikely.

For Ginn, it's cheapness. For the other artists, it's lack of desire to sue Ginn to get their masters back.
