Danzig for sure. He’d have to then pay all the people that played on the records. I’m honestly amazed any of the Misfits stuff even stays in print or gets reissued

His catalog always seems to be widely available in my local thrift stores.
Find them in the "sex pest" section along with Rolf Harris and Gary Glitter.

    Yep, I'm going with this

I really hope he changes his mind, and even opens up the vaults..... but incredibly unlikely.

seriously, if he would just embrace this thing? immediate attention from hipsters, and he gets the respect that he wants so badly!

And a copy of lostprophets' liberation transmission. It used to bemuse me they didn't bin these but someone must be buying them because they ended up back on the shelf next time I went in after i'd took a copy to the desk and suggested it was unlikely to be sold.

Another band unlikely to reissue the back catslogue

Well, I wasn't familiar with them previously. Lol...not sure I wanted to be:

Or lack of funds. I don't see Negativland, Bad Brains, and the two surviving Minutemen having the money or time to sue Greg Ginn.

I get that Dinosaur Jr and SY did it, but didn't they have at least some backing before going into it?

I just want to be able to walk into a record store and get "Double Nickels on the Dime" without having to spend the big bucks, as the group intended. I missed it because I thought it would always be around.

Their 80's output is still super easy to get, but their 90's-00's stuff is stupid expensive and out of print (on vinyl).

This was the first thing that I thought of when reading this thread. Amazing that Dave hasn't release a large box set, etc.

Hasn’t Wendy Carlos got a few albums that are virtually impossible to find?

    First three Kraftwerk albums, agreed.

Oh my God, I didn't know, SST releases are all out of print now?
I looked up some Black Flag and Husker Du now on Amazon and it's all only third-party sellers, mostly at inflated prices. This is ridiculous, makes no sense.

Sade's first four albums were remastered in 2000, but none of them have ever been "deluxed". No B-sides, no rarities. Nothing.

I think they’ll be back in print at some point but plant delays are hitting everyone. I ordered some Black Flag and Descendents records from SST earlier this year. Double Nickels comes back in stock every now and then.

Not all. There's still a decent selection if you go directly to SST's online store. But a lot of stuff has fallen out of print and Ginn seems in no rush to make them available again.
