over the last week: Janine Letter To Hermione Width of A Circle The Supermen Bewlay Brothers Lady Grinning Soul
I just finished my first ever listen to the Ziggy Stardust Motion Picture Soundtrack (thanks Barnes & Noble 50% off clearance!)...I found a copy of Never Let Me Down 2018 at a local record store...it's coming up sometime soon.

I have been listening to quite a bit of Bowie this week. Buddha of Suburbia. A very underrated album, definitely top-tier Bowie from my point of view. Serious Moonlight (Live '83). I will admit it, I love the Let's Dance era. Bowie was in tremendous voice during this period and the tour produced some wonderful arrangements (and a great band). Bowie At The Beeb. Forgot how enjoyable this collection is. While far from perfect, it is a nice compilation with some great performances.
"1. Outside". Amazing how Bowie and co managed to leave me thrilled, bored, weirded-out, excited, bewildered, pumped-up, exhausted, stimulated and enervated by an album, all at the same time.

This is one of those weird bootleg releases that get sold by Amazon in the UK. It's a date from the Earthling tour with the following tracklist: 1. Quicksand 2. Queen Bitch 3. I'm Waiting for the Man 4. The Jean Genie 5. I'm Afraid of Americans 6. Battle for Britain (The Letter) 7. The Man Who Sold the World 8. Fashion 9. Seven Years in Tibet 10. Stay 11. Looking for Satellites 12. Under Pressure 13. Hallo Spaceboy 14. Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) 15. Little Wonder 16. White Light White Heat Shockingly - this has better sound quality than some official Bowie releases. Seriously, it sounds amazing. Being a bootleg there's nothing to write home about on the packaging. Opening with Quicksand is dynamite (there's an interesting moment early on where the person mixing this is finding the levels, so don't be concerned when the bass drum first hits, it quickly gets sorted.) After that - Earthling.......
Given current masterings on Bowie titles, I'd wager an official release won't match this for sound quality. They always find some reason to compress things. They may have better performances in their locker, but sound wise this truly will be as good as it gets digitally, I believe.
Hours Never Let Me Down (original... Much better than the remix abortion) Tonight Let's Dance Lodger.
