A LOT if you mean "heard" as in listened end to end. I mean how many ArtistX "classic albums" do I need to endure in the name of education if I like nothing I've heard from them?

    Swaddling Songs by Mellow Candle.
And I've never heard any Jimi Hendrix albums, though I've got The Singles Album (and I think it's great).
    Or any Doors albums.
I do have a lot of Kinks records (singles and albums), but I've never heard The Village Green Preservation Society.

I have a handful of best-of lists bookmarked and use them occasionally to pick out a classic album I've never heard. It definitely has helped me develop a greater appreciation for artists and genres that I am less familiar with, relatively speaking, especially jazz and prog rock.

Some classics I've never listened to all the way through include: The Band - "Music from Big Pink", Pink Floyd - "Animals", Aretha Franklin - "I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You", and Black Sabbath - "Master of Reality".
