My first Phish concert: Vegas '96. We landed in town that afternoon and I spent
hours roaming the parking lot but finally scored a ticket. I was stunned by the band
and how professional the whole affair was. To this day it is one of the top 5 or 6
concerts I have ever seen. Another area fan got me a copy of the show on cassette
but then the band eventually released it on video and audio.

Rattle in Hum. Denver. Night 2. 1987. Show started off meh, but quickly became one of my all time favorite shows.

Bauhaus. Gotham. 1997. NYC. I went to both nights.

Flaming Lips. Red Rocks. Soft Bulletin live with the CO Symphony Orch.

I think there a few more like Skinny Puppy live in Denver— they released Harsh Stone White for the Spasmolytic single.

I’ll never forget everyone holding up their lighters at MSG after John Lennon left the stage even though Elton was still performing. Most amazing concert I ever saw in my 63 years.

Elton talks about that concert and the bet Lennon lost to him in Elton’s excellent autobiography “Me” which I recommend highly, especially the audible version narrated by Taron E.

I'll have to dig out my DVD - the band had some bite at that show if I recall from the first time I saw it.
