There have been dozens, but probably the biggest would be:

Led Zeppelin - Celebration Day (O2 Arena)
Kiss - Alive II (LA Forum)

Did Neil ever release this officially? I'd like a version on physical media.

The Cocker Live album was recorded in 1993 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts. I had and have seen Joe Cocker many times live, but not with that large a band behind him. He, of course, toured with the magnificent Mad Dogs and Englishmen tour in the early '70s with huge backing group , but not since then (It apparently had played Symphony Hall in Boston. I would have thunk it blew the place apart, but I guess not.).

When the album came out, it then dawned on me why they sprung for the large backing band, and that was to do the live album. They didn't mention it from the stage. It might have been the best Cocker concert I had personally seen.

One of the earliest was Alice Cooper in Dallas for the Billion Dollar Babies Tour in '73 released as a second disc on the deluxe cd edition ths century. The funny thing is I have never owned it or even heard the recording. I'm sure it is on Ytube but I've nver bothered to look. It was a great show though I preferred the Killer Tour.

my favorite on that list certainly one of the best concerts I have been too. more moving than the Cream reunion in retrospect. Just two friends playing off one another

My wife and me attended the Queen and Paul Rodgers gig at the Sheffield Hallam FM Arena in May 2005. Roger Taylor told the audience the show was being filmed for release. A couple of months later, I bought the DVD and, lo and behold, there we both are... clear to be seen in a couple of shots!

It was written in the stars that I should see Queen that night. I phoned the box office the Saturday night before Tuesday night's show to be told it had sold out. On a whim, after work, I called again and was told, "We've got ten left. Front stage. Standing." I quickly bought two tickets and phoned my wife, telling her we were going straight to the gig. I missed out on Queen at St James' Park, Newcastle, in 1986. My late mother (who saw Queen twice - first supporting Mott The Hoople at Newcastle City Hall, in 1974, then again at the fabled December 4th 1979 show at the same venue) said, "But, pet, the tickets are £13 each!" Ha! Seems funny now.

Was it the G3 in Columbus? I was at that one. I think I can hear myself on the album.

Dam what a good place to see a band. No longer there though. The Allman Brothers were like a house band. I never did see them with Duane though. Was to young by a few years.
