I was at Paul McCartney show in 1993 at Giants Stadium. I believe some songs were used on the “Paul is Live” album!

R.E.M. "Tour Film" I clearly remember the moment someone tossed a cup from the upper level of the arena. Stipe says without hesitation.. "That Better Not Be Styrofoam" or something to that effect. I sat next to the soundboard alongside members of Pylon.
Great night, they played about 3 hours. Truly amazing night. "World Leader Pretend" was a massive highlight.

At least four Dead shows, including Nightfall of Diamonds, and any number of King Crimson gigs, depending on precisely what constitutes 'released'.

Me and 500,000 of my closest friends saw Simon and Garfunkel in Central Park. So there's that.

There was an instance at the end of the concert (during the final applause) where the camera was pointed straight at me! I thought I'd be in the final video. I wasn't. It's possible I ruined the shot by looking at the camera once, but there were very few (if any) crowd shots anyway.

    Paul McCartney - Paris - October 10th 1989.

"Rough ride" from this show is the third track on the live album "Tripping the life fantastic" :)
You can hear me, with the rest of the crowd, cheer back to Paul when he shouts 'Bonsoir Paris !', on this record.
My voice on a McCartney album, a dream come true ! ;)

    King Crimson - Offenbach, Germany - June 7th, 2000.

Three tracks from this show are on the live triple CD "Heavy ConstruKction": Improv Offenbach, Cage and Off and back.
Since then, the whole concert is available for sale on the DGM website.

    Steve Vai - Strasbourg - April 1st, 2001.

It is during that show that the song "Being with you in Paris" from the "Alive in an ultra world" album was recorded.
The version on the album is not the one from the show but it is from the afternoon soundcheck, which I attented.

    The Who - Amneville, France - July 18th, 2006.

Complete show is officially available on DVD as part of the Encore Series.

I saw th Dead live in Seattle several times; there may be a released show that I was at. I don't remember the dates, though. It would likely be in the 80's.

Which shows were you at that made it to Jackson Browne solo acoustic Vol. 1? They don’t even list recording dates.

Just Bruce Springsteen February 29, 2016 and via livestream though I streamed it as it was happening & streaming it via my tv made me feel I was there - Phish December 31, 2019 (so good I would do it again - I did the webcast + MP3 too so I could relive it)
I’d love to go to more at sometime.

Jethro Tull : Bursting Out (Festhalle Bern, Switzerland); Anderson wrote on the vinyl jacket "recorded somewhere else in Europe" but the stage announcer is definitely from the French part of Switzerland. Why Ian was compelled to brush over the real location of the recording has always irked me and added to my opinion of him being kind of a dick. I do think most or all of the album was recorded in Bern, although the brown Afghan we ingested keeps the memory in a haze...and everything they played sounded good to us.

Ted Nugent 9 May 1979 at the Hammersmith Odeon. The second show that he did that day(I also saw the third show he did that night). I think he did three days in a row two shows a night at 6 and 9 with no opening act and the last day he did three shows 6,9 and midnight. It was awesome and it was loud as hell!! My friend Greg and I were huge Nugent disciples and were front row directly in front of our rock messiah. Nugent was loud, real loud and when he did his guitar feedback thing I could feel the skin on my face moving. We thought it would be awesome if we could get guitar picks which were laying all over the stage but out of reach so at the right moment my friend Greg slid up on stage on his belly and I had him by the feet ready to pull him off of the stage. Then Ted turns around and looks at us like WTF??. We start sceaming picks, picks and he says something like you want some picks and gets a cup full of picks and dumps them all over us yessss picks from the Nuge. I think it is at the start of track 7. I bought this CD about 10 years age and could not believe it. Anyway thanks for the great idea for a thread!!!
