R.E.M. - Undertow from New Adventures in HiFi (Fleet Center, Boston MA 10/3/95)

King Crimson - The Wiltern Los Angeles 1995 is a Collector's Club release. A good show.

Paul Westerberg - Whiskey A-Go-Go 1993 a couple songs appear on a UK CD Single of World Class Fad. Not so hot sounding, like a cassette recorded off the board.

Jeff Beck at BB King Blues Club, Sept 10, 2003. Best show I ever saw. I could read the set list off his notes by his feet, right in front of me. It took my friend a couple of days to decide it was only the second best show for him. He'd seen The Who at Leeds.

BTW I kept getting jostled by a cameraman. There were three. I've never seen a film. Has anyone?

I was at two concerts in the Bay Area that ended up on video releases

    1. Fleetwood Mac at the Cow Palace, San Francisco in 1987. The concert ended up on a full concert release (Tango In The Night) on VHS back in the day.
    2. Crosby Stills & Nash at the Bridge School Benefit at Shoreline Ampitheater, Mountain View, CA in 1990. A clip of "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes" was included in the CSN "Long Time Comin'' video. During Stills guitar solo, you can hear some high-pitched "whooooooooos" in the crowd. That's me : )

Metallica Seattle 1989 eventually released on Binge & Purge and later as part of the And Justice For All box set.
Nirvana Halloween 1991 eventually released as Live at the Paramount; also, there appears to be a blurry photo of me in the crowd in the In Utero inner sleeve.

Here are shows that I’ve been to that have been officially released in some form over the years:

Pretenders - 9/4/81 - Santa Monica Civic - (radio broadcast, eventually released on deluxe edition of Pretenders 2 cd.)

Ozzy Osbourne - 6/12/82 - Irvine Meadows (broadcast on cable and released on home video as "Speak Of The Devil" or other titles on vhs, laserdisc and dvd).

WASP - Spring 1983 - Not really a concert. Troubadour club film shoot (unpaid extra) for the (terrible) movie "Dungeonmaster."

US Festival - 5/28, 29, 30/1983 - all three days. I recorded most of the bands including Van Halen's entire set. The live clip linked below is the oft-bootlegged video with my own audio recording with an AIWA cassette recorder when I used to record shows that includes me and my friends drunkenly yammering at points through the song.

Judas Priest - 5/5/84 - Long Beach Arena (released on the deluxe edition of JPs "Defenders Of The Faith" cd.)

Iron Maiden - 3/5/85 - Long Beach Arena (one of the shows recorded for the Live After Death album and home video)

Jane's Addiction - 4/21/89 - John Anson Ford Theater (I believe some of the footage from this show was included on a heavy metal "video magazine")

Sam Kinison - 5/2?/89 (Memorial Day weekend) - Las Vegas - (show released on home video)

Jane's Addiction - 12/19/90 - Hollywood Palladium (recorded and filmed, but only "Ain't No Right" released as promo video, entire audio released on "Cabinet Of Curiosities" box set)

Jane's Addiction - 7/24/91 - Irvine Meadows - (several songs from this show were released as a bonus CD on the "Cabinet Of Curiosities" box set)

Jane’s Addiction - 11/22/97 - Bill Graham Civic Center, San Francisco - (part of this show was filmed and showed up on the documentary "Three Days")

The Cult - 10/4/01 - Olympic Auditorium - Filmed barely a month after 9/11 for the live home video "Music Without Fear." I am prominently featured in several audience shots rockin' out as seen in the still frame capture below.

Jane’s Addiction - NYE 12/31/02 – Wiltern (several songs from this show were included on the bonus dvd for the album "Strays")

Pretenders - 2/27/03 - Wiltern (filmed for the home video "Loose in LA")

Bad Religion - 11/20/04 - Hollywood Palladium - (filmed for the home video "Live At The Palladium")

Bauhaus - 10/29/05 - Wiltern (released as "Instant Live" CD-R set... does this count?)

The Cult - 3/7/06 - Music Box, Hollywood (released as "Instant Live" CD-R set... seriously, does this count?)

    U2 - 10/25/09 - Rose Bowl (filmed for dvd/blu-ray release)

Nice list. I envy you seeing the Stones at MSG in 1969 as I was too young. Which concert did you attend? Where were your seats?

Love the Garden. Saw many epic concerts there in the 70's
