What did Queen Elizabeth think of the Beatles' "Her Majesty"?

surely she could stop rattling her jewelry for :23 seconds to give it a spin....

 

As the official spokesman* for Queen Elizabeth, I would like to convey that "We were not amused."

The Queen isn't supposed to have opinions - not public ones anyway. If she could, I doubt that would be on her list of priorities to opine on.

 

I doubt she’s ever heard it, or any Beatles music past 1963, for that matter.

Kind of funny that that song and Oh darling has earned Paul approximately the same out of money over the years. Yet at one point it was almost thrown away.

 

I'm not sure that Queen Elizabeth had the foresight to have an opinion about “Her Majesty” but she is believed to have enjoyed Mr. Shakespeare's plays.
