Rush - Hemispheres
I listened to Neil Young Massey Hall on vinyl and the Jethro Tull "This Was" 50th Anniversary 3cd/dvd box a couple of days ago.
Ashra - New Age of Earth
About 8 years ago. Can't remember last cd.
Excellent.... Just finished "Ocean Of Tenderness"
"Aqua" - Edgar Froese
It was Yes - Relayer on the train ride home so it was only on my i-pod through smallish headphones.
I hardly ever listen at home to Cd's through my decent headphones.
Bruce Springsteen The Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle, this morning.
BLACK & BLUE from The Stones (76). Audiophile quality; each instrument is clear and prominent in the mix, with Charlie’s drum kit sounding like Zeus enraged. Swift, crisp percussive strikes—but the highlight is the sinewy, crunchy shredding growl of the many Gibsons at play on that LP. Weaving in all its glory on those jam numbers—Keef and Woody meshing those tones the way a key fits a lock.
B&B is a good example of something sounding even better through headphones.
Yesterday I enjoyed Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass Christmas Albim from ‘68.
Apartment living demands my use of cans.
the dBs & Friends- It's Christmas Time Again
A conference call.
Dream Theater- Untethered Angel, new single at 5AM today
The Queen is Dead Deluxe version on Air Pods while running.
That is if you want to grant Air Pods being headphones. Not too sure myself.
I am fortunate enough to be able to listen to 4-5 hours of music a day while I work... I use headphones to drown out the office noise... Yesterday, not sure if it was the last thing I listened to but I remember enjoying Bob Seger's Greatest Hits and thinking he is a much better songwriter than most give him credit for.
Richard Thompson - 13 Rivers.
Bummer. Only restraint on my volume is the wife although I seldom play anything at a really loud volume. Sometimes.
Bob Seger - Night Moves DCC
I'm mostly a headphone listener anyway, but I thought it helped me appreciate the details in this mastering.
Haircut 100, bizarrely .
Herbie. Sextant. Fantastic.
Yeah I got one of those too. Anything over normal conversation volume and the complaints start a comin'.
I do crank my Elacs when home alone though.
Pink Floyd - Animals
it must be ten years since I had a set of headphones on. I miss the intimacy of headphones
