"It's about the weather in your head as well.
I feel I have to point that out, someone reviewed it and said it was a meteorological song!"

, there will never be anyone quite like him.

His banter with the audience on this album is really great.

In all the times I was privileged to see him perform his interaction with the audience was always a special part of the show.

I have to say this picture disc sounds excellent - no noises. Quite a nice surprise.

Sitting home - not working is not good - ordered 13 LPs from Elusive disc and 11 more from Music Direct. I'm back to being a vinyl maniac. :)

Wait until next payday for another order. Umm who is kidding who?

One album - to help out the younger artists

Nice! :righton: I retired June 28th of last year.
Last week, for the first time in a long time, I ordered 4 records in a single day from Discogs! All Spyro Gyra; there first 3 releases, and "Breakout" (not "Point Of View" as previously mentioned), a later release.
I do have more time than every to sit back and spin records, and enjoy beer!! But; beer typically doesn't enter my day until 4:00pm. Lol! :D I do have my unwritten rules.

When you're retired you can drink any time. It's like Las Vegas 24/7.

I have a few Spyro Gyra albums back in Canada. If I knew I would not be able to go home and if I knew I would buy a new came changer of a turntable I would have brought a second suitcase with more of my albums.

This is the one I played often - basically I bought 99% used albums so one is left to what is available. I was in a Spyro Gyra, Yellowjackets, and Acoustic Alchemy phase.

Started the morning listening to some things I picked up earlier in the week. First up was an upgrade copy of the first Squeeze album (1978 A&M, US pressing [RCA]) that I got cheap. Then, the 1/2 speed mastered version of the first Ramones album (2018 Rhino, EU pressing). I enjoyed that so much, I pulled the second Ramones album, Leave Home (1977 Sire) off the shelf and listened to that.

Now I’m back to new acquisitions. Next up is Tim Berne, Sanctified Dreams (1987 Columbia). I can’t even begin to keep up with Tim Berne. He’s far too prolific. But I love pretty much anything of this era with these guys on it.
