If you had to pick one Guns N' Roses song as their "signature", what would it be?

To clarify, "signature song" means the song most closely identified with the artist.

It's not your personal favorite or what you view as her best song.

Feel free to discuss your rationale as well as "runner up" choices or other thoughts.

Also feel free to mention any songs you think I left out of the poll that should've been included!

“Jungle” in a close call over “Sweet Child.”

But those are all huge songs. That's why they can fill stadiums with only a few albums.

i truly can't stand metal. I find it loud and annoying! However, there's something about the album " Appetite For Destruction" that makes it appealing to me, which I can't quite put my finger on. Perhaps it's its superb production and clarity of sound. I'm taking the original compact disc edition of course. Perhaps it's that the entire album is very accessible. Perhaps it's its very melodic songs with insanely catchy hooks unusual for most metal. Perhaps it's the over-the-top humor found in several of the songs. Maybe it's a combination of all these things. Whatever it is, it's a fantastic and energetic ride, and in my opinion one of the best rock albums ever made! Anyway, "Welcome To The Jungle" is the first song that comes to mind when I think of Gins 'n' Roses.

They have quite a few signature songs IMO. Even their cover of 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' could be one of those.

I agree WTTJ had the biggest impact for me. If it was their most hyped song, then that would of been November Rain easily. :)

While not their best song, Sweet Child O’ Mine put them on the map and launched them into superstardom.

Not a fan, but pretty much any choice other than Sweet Child O Mine would be crazy

Debatable. But it was the first single written by the band.

Sweet Child. It reaches a larger demographic than Jungle. What an album....

Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child ‘O Mine, and Paradise City, are all signature songs in my opinion. Sorry, I can’t vote for just one.

Among the general public, it’s definitely Sweet Child ‘O Mine.

You can only have one signature song by definition.
