Okay I'll just say this one: Afghan Whigs - Congregation.

 

That one was so over the top and absurd it was almost funny. I mentioned in another thread that I never forgot that ad after I saw it on the wall of a record store as a teenager...love it or loathe it, at least it made an impression! Of course it was in extremely poor taste, but it was the Stones after all.

Some people are doing a Nigel Tufnel here, confusing risque with sexist.

They were just told to pose different ways at thier photo shoots, then Aristas art department put the two together. Clive Davis just had to get him one more time before Carmen left the label.
