Sad to see The Buddha of Suburbia polling poorly – behind Tonight and even Never Let Me Down. That's a remarkable album.

It is remarkable. I think many have never heard it.

But you only have one vote, right? Do you think Buddha is the best?

I don't have all of his albums yet but I love Station To Station, Low and "Heroes" the most.
Recently bought his first album (Deram, deluxe edition) and quite liked it, too.

No. Just surprised that other, lesser albums are nominated as favourites but not this one.

Whoever voted for the 67 album please give your reasons. Unless you're just taking the pi*s I'm intrigued. I like the album but it's weird to say it's his best.
    Are you 60s psychedlia fans?

There might be some logic to it. You need to get people to rank more than one album to get a feel for how each one is rated.

Interesting and nice to see that every album listed has at least one vote.

I voted for Diamond Dogs. I'm actually not sure what my top five would be, but Heroes and Earthling would probably be among them.

Only Aladin Sane and Hunky Dory would have a chance of any challenge!

Look again — Station to Station is in third place, comfortably ahead of Aladdin Sane. Heck, so is Low! :)

Btw. the top three are my three favorite Bowie albums.

    2. Low
    3. Heroes
    4. Young Americans
    5. Station To Station

    6. Station to Station
    7. Space Oddity
    8. Hunky Dory
    9. Scary Monsters
    10. The Rise and Fall

But I'd rather insert live albums somewhere rather high - Stage, Santa Monica, and something from the '95 tour if I may.

I give the nod to Low because of 'Subterraneans' but my top 3 could be in any order.

In the past I would've said Ziggy or Hunky Dory, but my new favorite is Station to Station. :righton:
