Since it's Valentines Day tomorrow I thought it would be appropriate to ask what people's favourite love songs were. Mine is "My love is like a red, red rose". I'm sharing Karen Matheson's version.

There are a lot of love songs I like in all different styles. I love country love songs. I love tearjerkers. I love power ballads.

The original 1982 12” version of New Order’s Temptation. There are a lot of great songs about being in love, but this captures the actual rush of falling in love better than anything I’ve ever heard

    Embraceable You — George Gershwin

Moondance — Van Morrison (my parents’ wedding song)

Ramones - Baby, I Love You

It was the first song my wife and I danced to on top of the Journal Square Parking deck in Jersey City overlooking the New York City skyline was back in the summer of 1989 when we first started dating.

Jimi Hendrix: "Little Wing", "Drifting", "Angel", "Night Bird Flying", "Dolly Dagger"
The Hollies: "The Air that I Breathe"
    Robert Johnson: "Love in Vain"
Billy Joel: "She's Always a Woman"
Julie London: "Cry Me a River"
