Homegrown ~ Neil Young Ok, that probably doesn't count. How about: Witch ~ Lazy Bones Genesis ~ Trespass
Dead Can Dance - Anastasis (2012) I didn't know that they had released anything this century until a few days ago. Great stuff. Only one track that I was less keen on. Also listened to Dionysus (2018), which is somewhat a departure in sound, though still great.
True - Spandau Ballet (1983) Being only familiar with the title track, I was pleasantly surprised for the most part. Some of it was kind of bland. Tony Hadley had/has an incredible voice.
Followed KISS since '76 (with a long hiatus) but never bothered with Lick It Up until recently... quite like it!
Never bothered with any of the Young Rascals albums proper, just compilations... just got the 50 anniversary mono LP of "Groovin'"... what a great album!!!!!
David Bowie - Lodger. I'm familiar with the Iggy Pop song 'Sister Midnight' so was interesting to hear David Bowie's 'Red Money'.
this bukka white LP (recorded by john fahey in '63) that i found in my collection (a long time ago i was given a friend's collection of blues and RnB .... and i've been going thru every LP i own, culling for a move. this made the cut LOL, my LP actually sounds waaay better than this yTube vid.
1969 The Open Mind...I've had this Sunbeam reissue vinyl for some time but it took the pandemic for me to pull it out for a spin!
I also have this Twink, Think Pink LP, signed by Pink that I've never listened to. Nows the time. 25th Anniversary 1996 Limited Release. This cool cover instead of the "fall forest" cover: The original album jacket:
Most of the Genesis catalog from the 70s-early 80s is new to me and I've aquired over the last couple months. I've had their first two, SEBTP and Invisible Touch for years, but nothing in between. I'm not sure why- I guess they just never clicked before...come to find out that, of course, all of them are good and a fair number are fantastic.
