Finally watched episode 2 of season 5 of SMDM. Finally, at the end of the episode the bionic man fights a shark hahaha.

Would you believe Netflix has every season of The Fugitive except for the last season?

    Sledge Hammer! (2 seasons, 86-87ish).

Hilarious show, 1/2 through Season 2. Rapid-fire jokes and gags. Fans of Police Squad should hunt this one down (or revisit it if you watched it air originally!)

As Johnny Carson would say “I did not know that.”

I had no idea it was on Netflix. Thanks for the tip.

So I just searched Netflix for The Fugitive. No dice. It’s not there.

But I did find a few episodes from seasons 1 and 2 on Pluto TV.

Number 96, the Aussie TV show that blew away Australia's innocence for good :)

    Hi there good man.

Exactly right! I love the sound of the old Valiant Charger police cars thundering along, and the acting quality which was of a high standard and storylines was was well planned out.

Would love to find copies of the US version. Very rare show. I've never seen it in anyone's collection.

Was it ever aired on U.S. tv ?? I had always thought it never made it beyond Aussie and/or British tv. I don't think it ever made it on DVD or other formats, but I wouldn't bet on it. I loved all the characters in Number 96 because they depicted all the various sectors of common Aussie life from immigrants to the wild Aussie life, from Aussie family life to urban legends.

Watching The Cyborg, an under-appreciated episode of VTTBOTS with Victor Buono as the NWO tyrant :)

Not the Aussie version. The US produced their own version of the show (minus the nudity and other parts that would offend we prudish Americans). I believe it ran for 6 episodes.

One bit of old television that's fun to watch is old football games on YouTube. How about Super Bowl 9?

My, how football has changed on television. What's the score? What's the down? You can't just look at the screen to find out because they're not there every moment.

And the commercials! During regular football games (not the Super Bowl) you'll see ads for the most trivial stuff. Of course you'll see a ton of car ads like today, but you'll also see ads for tires (Goodyear of course), and ads for motor oil, and even ads for spark plugs! I guess we bragged about what brand of spark plugs we had in our cars back then.
