What was the first 'complete' TV series on VHS?

    At least you didn't buy the Japanese imports that an acquaintance did.

    Ha! I bought the Japanese import LaserDisc of Twin Peaks - 16 discs in one massive box set. It probably cost me twice as much as the North America releases, but the packaging was amazing.

    I also bought the first seven seasons of The X-Files on Japanese LaserDiscs. The early seasons were released as two sets of six discs each - 12 episodes per box. I think I paid $350 per box, or $700 per season.

    Whenever I think about that now, I can only shake my head and wonder, "What was I thinking?" :(

    The "On The Air" series was released in Japan on LD. I remember seeing it used all the time, but never bothered to buy a copy.
