Root Shock in Rochester, NY. Feb 28. That was my sixth, and presumably final, show of 2020.

The first show I had tickets for that got cancelled was Stereolab in Kingston. Also the next night in Pittsburgh. (Caught them five times in 2019, though). First one that got postponed was They Might Be Giants here in Buffalo two days before the Kingston show. Last one that got cancelled was Daryl Hall and John Oates two days ago. Was finally officially cancelled early last week.

I was supposed to see Radical Face in Detroit on Feb 29, 2020 and am so, so, so, so glad I opted out, much as I wanted to be there.

My canceled/postponed shows were: Josh Ritter in March, Graham Parker in April (aaaargh), and Jason Isbell in May.

It was supposed to be The Who in Denver back in Sept., that date got postponed to May 2020, that was canceled as well. I'll probably never get to see 'em now.

Small theater show outside of Atlanta back in November, Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats. Fun show, met him and the band afterward as they hung out and signed merch, got a signed LP and CD. Was supposed to see Brian Setzer's annual Christmas show but he had to cancel his entire tour for some reason I can't remember, ear troubles or voice issues.

They Might Be Giants, Bowery Ballroom, NYC, Jan. 11, 2020. I was supposed to see them again in March (and April, May, July and September) but we all know what happened.

I guess it would have to be Nick Mason at the Beacon in NYC, Spring ‘19.

Calexico and Iron & Wine at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto in February this year. Great concert and I got a setlist, signed by Calexico's Joey Burns. Had a few others lined up for this year, now sadly cancelled...

Unfortunately Mike Gordon 2/1/2020 in Seattle. Not a great show but not a bad one either. I hope itts not the last show I ever see. Phish and their spinofffs are probably my least favorite of the jamband scene and I love jambands.

New Order in Melbourne on March 14th 2020. The government announced the first pandemic lockdown the night before, so this was one of the last (if not THE last) major musical event held in Melbourne to date.

Can’t even recall the the bands names.

    Local-ish edm influenced jambands.

I had a good time even though I was already pretty concerned about what was happening.

    Probably March 13th or 14th.

The Figgs, Berlin Under A, Feb. 29th. A tiny room absolutely jam packed - it definitely kind of seemed like a bad idea at the time, to be honest.

Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul at the Fillmore, Oct. 13, 2017. I saw Junior Brown just days before, was bucket list. (Missed on Roky Erickson a week or so later, was told too close to the show to go, by a friend I had told before that I was quitting going to shows to! I really wished I had known a day before...)
I then wished late last year/early this year I had seen The Misfits from last year, and an old estranged friend's bands playing their last shows (final reunions 5 years after last) unbeknownst to me this February.
I wish it wasn't all over forever now. Hard to believe I'm actually typing that now.....
