I've got some boxes vinyl that I've been selling off at garage sales for $2 & $1 a disc and I'm thinking about just unloading some of the rest at Half Price Books. Most of them are pretty decent titles by artists like Brian Auger, Leo Kottke, Little Feat etc.
I've asked the clerks there what's the average price they pay for vinyl and they say they can't give me an answer. I know that like when I sell books they take everything so I'm guessing they don't pay much.
What can I expect if I were to take some of them to sell at Half Price Books.

From my experience you’ll take 20 items there, they will make you wait 10 min in the store and when they call your name over the loudspeaker they’ll say we can give you $5 for those. I think you are actually better off at the garage sale.

If you take your vinyl to Half Price you'll pretty much just be giving it away in terms of the money they will offer.
If your going to do that just give it away from home.
