A used Audio Note DAC2.1x Signature or DAC3.1x. So musical with organic sonics.
NOS, uses the Analogue Devices AD1865 chip, tubed gain stage and rectification.

It is a frustration of mine that it seems to be smaller players that come up with better mousetraps. It would be nice if the mainstream would catch up - but the target markets are perhaps different.

I only heard of Pureaudio because of the California Audio Show and the Old Forge room which was one of the two best rooms at that show and the Pure Audio One was the amplifier. Jack Roberts and I were fighting over it. LOL. He beat me to it. https://theaudiobeatnik.com/reviewing-the-pureaudio-one-integrated-amplifier-part-1/

Does the new LM DAC use the same tube lineup (2x12AU7 and 6x4 rectifier)?

I grasp a lot of terminologies. But I always have issue understanding what "organic" and "musical" mean. They seem more abstract and not as concrete as terms like imaging, tonal balance, etc.

Can someone explain what it means by organic and musical?

there has been a lot of chatter about the Jolida Black Ice FX DSD. At it's price around $500 it's being compared favorably with the LM. I have heard the Musical Paradise ver.2 and it sounded nice.

I use the term "organic" when a digital device presents analogue-like sonics. There's no harshness or glare and it sounds like real music. Basically, a non-digital and natural presentation.
"Musical" to me is when a component or system gets out of the way and lets the music flow effortlessly and realistically. It's uncoloured and has good tonal qualities and dynamics.

Heard the Mytek Brooklyn Bridge. Very impressive. What do you have the output of yours set at and are you using MQA?
