Not Holy Grail per se, but I'm always on the lookout for either original UK or German Pink Island pressings.
Hendrix: Black Gold I know that it's only a personnal demo by the man but it'll be a fascinating listen. Only one track released so far - "Suddenly November Morning" (on West Coast Seattle Boy).
Whoa! This reissue has been sitting on my shelves for a while, did not see that $100 going rate coming. I guess I should listen to it.
Always wanted this in Mono and Stereo but could never really justify the cost when I have near mint B&Y copies. It's just stationary after a certain point.
Yes. At this point, I'm happy with my B&Y copy also. I just tell myself that ONE DAY, I will be lucky enough to stumble upon a Gold copy that will be, for any reason, priced no higher than 50 bucks. If it happens, THEN I'll buy it. If it doesn't, it's ok.
Y Kant Tori Read original 1988 US pressing on Atlantic CD or LP. They were around when I was in retail but I never picked one up. Then they disappeared.
Copy of the first press of Dylan's Freewheeling with the alternate songs..I know that's shooting high!$!
I want her two albums From The Choirgirl Hotel and American Doll Posse. Had the first few on vinyl, then was listening to different things, wasn't listening to her, would pick up the odd one, but mainly either didn't get them or got them on cd. Then a few weren't put out on vinyl. Then recent ones started getting LP releases so I bought them. Now I have 'the gaps' annoying me. Crucially I didn't grab those two.
I have most of the DCC gold CDs I want but there are still a few I would love to find affordable copies of. For example I would love to own Aqualung and Night Moves but last time I checked used copies were going for around $100, more than I can afford.
gosh so many Os Mutantes first one comes to mind as maybe my number one.... one by Moris - Treinta Minutos.. which I lost/was stolen/don't know..... the original is so hard to find... I'm just not satisfied with getting a reissue..
the three Nick Drake records in their original UK pressings....I have a feeling I will never get them...It has been about 20 years and have yet to even see one...
Original pressing of Jackie Gleason's Music for Lovers Only in decent playable affordable condition. The intended audience must have bought this and played the life out of it because no original copy I've come across is in good shape. This one was before my time but it must have been pretty popular because everyone that bought it opened it and played it over and over.
