I would say my first best piece of equipment i ever owned was the Esoteric P01 Transport with external power supply and a pair of Do1 Mono Dacs with the Rubinion clock i think that was the spelling.
Next it would be my JBL Everest loudspeakers both pieces of equipment was in the same system, they were the days. Both items were landmark reference products from both companies.
I would love to hear from everyone else please there is just so much lovely equipment that has been made.

Allied 333 same as Pioneer SX-34. Can not find a better sounding tube amp, but it is upgraded with better parts & tubes.
Revel Performa M22 speakers. Just wonderful sounding.

When you manufacture something that works and lasts....you're gonna go out of business......sad but true.

Resolution Audio CD50. Bought it back in the early 2000s, with a well mastered cd you'd never guess you were listening to a digital source.

Resolution Audio Opus 21 with XS which replaced my CD50. The Opus 21 is more versatile, but with redbook I think the CD50 sounds better.

I would say only the items in my current system qualify as the best I’ve ever owned, but for a while my only system consisted of a Marantz 2325 receiver and a Marantz 6300 turntable. Good times.

I love my sound system as a complete unit but my two favourites are:
    • Michell Orbe SE- very good sounding turntable that really brings the best out of the records.
    • Okki Nokki- I look at the RCM as an integrated part of the vinyl rig. It gives the Orbe SE the best possible conditions to get the job done.

Perhaps an odd choice: My Linn Kan original speaker stands.....the stands look great and are super heavy duty, beautifully made. Very pleasing. (Much more pleasing than the Kans themselves).
The other favorite: My Rogers LS4a speakers. These have a certain voicing, balance and overall stressless presentation that I am completely happy with.

    Easy!
    ARC Ref75SE power amp
Oracle Delphi V turntable with SMEV arm.
These two are just on an other level from everything else I’ve owned.

I’ve also owned a Resolution Audio CD-50, so big thumbs up for that player, as well!

My two picks would be Dunlavy SC-IV loudspeakers and a Balanced Audio Technologies VK-5i preamp.

  21. Litejazz53

Litejazz53 Perfect Sound Through Crystal Clear Digital

These speakers would probably be the best purchase I ever made:
