I feel strange putting a $100 dollar pair of speakers on my stuff. But the speakers are just that good.

On the lower end of things:

    1. KEF LS50 (possibly to be replaced soon--as if that's possible--or supplemented with a subwoofer)
    2. Rega P3 (also considering upgrade)

My E.A.T. C-Sharp turntable, beautiful to look at and wonderful to listen to.
Honorable mention goes to my Marantz SA15s2 reference series SACD/CD player in the beautiful Champagne finish.

c-eling They're made of light,We never would have guessed

Squeezebox Touch, still going strong after 8 years :)
    Emotiva DC-1 DAC
Technics SL-1900, a powerhorse for those transfers I make for the above :)
and a recently 'new to me' Outlaw 2150, people/reviews weren't kidding about the amp section in this thing.
Speakers are next, but that's been a sea of hesitation. I'm lost with all the makes and models available...

I take so long to decide on what I'm going to buy that by the time I buy it, of course I think its the best piece of gear I've purchased! I can't really narrow it down, but I tried to put them in order as far as which piece would be hardest for me to replace or let go in my system. I love them all!

1a. PS Audio NuWave Phono Converter
    - I don't know of anything else that serves as a phono stage and A-to-D converter and manages to do it all so easily while sounding great.

1b. AURALiC Taurus MkII headphone amp - I did tons of research before settling on this amp. No longer in production, so I'd be up a creek if I needed a replacement.

    2. Technics SL-1210GR TT - Relatively affordable direct-drive turntable with detachable headshell sounds great while being built like a tank. There isn't any other new production direct-drive turntable that excites me. Not Pioneer. Not Denon. Not A-T. And, I'm not a fan of TT without the detachable headshell, so that knocks most mid-fi and up belt-drive turntables off my radar.

3a. Schiit Gungnir Multi-Bit DAC - Still in production, so I could replace it if need be. Love the multi-bit sound, and Schiit has yet to let me down. However, lots of other DAC options... Would go into analysis paralysis if I had to get a new DAC and Schiit ended production of the Gumby.

3b. Schiit Freya Pre-Amp - Still in production, so I could replace it if need be. Don't know of any pre-amp with Freya's functionality that could be had for less than $1,000.

I guess my KAB 1200MkII is up there. 10 years now and still tight as new. And my R7, which I sold like a schmuck.

Agree...I bought my first RCM last year, a VPI 16.5. The word "Revelation" is thrown around a lot but this was it.
