Not to mention getting upset over trivia. It couldn't of course be that someone remembered something. What is life like for you in Perfectionland? Must be pretty lonely.

This was wrong, and I apologise. WTTM has three chords. No, four! Em, C, A and there's a Bm in the synth break there. Dammit. Between this and having nominated Barrett's "Opel" as a posthumous release, I seem to be losing my grip on Floyd. Gone senile at 45, great. Thanks, 2020. No, 2021! Christ alive, this is bad.

There was an issue of Guitar World several years ago in which one of the guys from America explained how to correctly play that song... it's actually done in an alternate tuning. It's an uncommon tuning, so I forget which strings are changed, but if I can find my copy of the magazine, I'll post the info here.

It's mostly those two chords, but a couple of other chords are heard briefly in the section where they sing "Doo doo doo doo".

    99 Tears - ? And the Mysterians

More than 2 chords if you count the refrain, but Byrds So You Want To Be a Rock’n’Eoll Star is a pretty great 2-chord riff.

I don't look at the chord books for at that time they were all wrong. I think that was an F#M7 or F#min7. I don't have my guitar in my hand .

I like dave grohl more as a drummer than a guitar player.

I agree with TMK (first one I thought of) and I also agree that it has TWO chords, at least that's how I've always heard it.

I guess this Chopin technically doesn't count, as there's one or two new chords at the end, but the vast majority of it is two chords, I think...

Memphis by Johnny Rivers sounds like it only has two chords, E and B7 according to one online source. That source claims there's a Dm in the bridge but it sure doesn't sound like it, and Dm doesn't fit in with E and B7 in the least.

Baby Come Back is a really good song as well!

After the chorus, the section starting after "Cause the free wind is blowin' through your hair..." is Em / F#m.
    So i count 4 chords...

Was just listening to Etta James' 'I'd Rather Go Blind' and sure enough...two chords, the major first and the minor second.

Amazing what she does with it.

One of the best. Love "Baby Come Back" by the Equals. You need to find a UK President original of this classic for comparison (the original UK label which issued this). One of the best records Ed Kassner issued.

Come to think of it, Eddy Grant's "Walking On Sunshine" has only the one chord, and I like it much better than "Baby Come Back".
