What's your favorite song with only TWO chords? Mine is "Baby Come Back" by The Equals. Yours??

I can't stand the song anymore, but it's notable for its big arrangement and because it's by a supposed prog band.

The Roxy Music song? Pretty sure it’s just one chord!

So is Run Through the Jungle. I was answering a question about 1 chord wonders.

To continue down this slightly off-topic side road, I believe this to be the most successful Top 40 AM radio song (#6) to be based entirely on one chord:
"The Beat Goes On" – Sonny and Cher

    Here's a classic two-chord song:
"Turn on Your Love Light" – Bobby "Blue" Bland

Nobody said it because the song has three chords.

After the first "get back to where you once belonged" comes G-D-A. This is repeated several times throughout the song.

Whether The Stones got it from Bo Diddley or Little Anthony and the Imperials, still only two chords: E and C#m.

You can see Brian playing them at the beginning and end of this performance.

Nope. Two chords on the verse and chorus (I and IV), but in between the chorus and the next verse comes a V chord.

Again, because it's not a candidate. E and A on the verse, but on the chorus, the chords are E D A C.

    Neat thread!

Bo Diddley - Who Do You Love

hmm. maybe not, on intro he might throw in a G but he could have got by without it, but rest of song is A with a jump to D

If that doesn't get past the judges,

Fire On The Mountain - Grateful Dead

Hey, I’m busting myself here; there’s a pesky vi chord in there. Never mind...

Some very dodgy counting and/or listening going on in this thread!
