Just preordered Morrissey “The Best of” , 1st vinyl issue of a compilation via Rhino on double clear vinyl limited numbered insert edition due 30/8
Have the 5 cd box set but I had to get this vinyl 3 lp set. Reading all the positive comments I read about it here on Hoffman helped make the decision easier. Frank Zappa Zappa In New York 40th Anniversary Triple Vinyl
My Jeff Tweedy Warm/Warmer showed up today and I am thrilled. It’s a beautiful textured cover containing the two records and it’s been an ordeal to own Warmer. I picked one up on RSD but promised my brother back east if I got one I would send it to him. I had no idea the resale on it would be so insane. Then when they originally released the two record set I passed as I was under the impression it would be a wide release and not limited, it sold out and then finally got my copy when they released a second batch. This one is gonna get a lot of play.
Genesis Seconds Out Reissue Remastered 2019 EU issue UMC Vinyl. HMV today for £24.99p I had £10 store credit so did not seem so bad better than £34.99p without it, Floyd.

This past Thursday was picking up some Jazz from my local store, and there on the counter, not even priced yet was an original WB green copy in excellent shape (both the embossed cover and vinyl, but no poster) of Black Sabbath's "Master of Reality". Holy crap does this not sound amazing! Got it for $12...not the biggest Sabbath fan, but this is one of the best hard rock albums ever made!
Found two 1st pressings today. Clean, quiet originals of both have been elusive for me. Mountain - Nantucket Sleighride Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die
Two reassessments, Sinatra - Cycles Ray Charles - I'm all yours baby I'd never heard either got them pretty recently read about them then listened I feel the assessment of them the reviews are in my opinion mistaken. The Sinatra one really works contemporary of the era strings traditional arrangements but with newer songs really great I like it a lot better than Watertown which I was quite disappointed with. The Ray Charles one is just all Ray slow Moody strings to accentuate the sadness it's just perfect just a masterpiece but the reviews pan it I think they're wrong in my opinion of course if you come across either of these to check them out. Excellent sound but my copies are pretty well worn on both Sinatra was a Goodwill but I paid five bucks at a genuine record store for the ray both are really well worn but a great listen anyhow.
I found a sealed copy (red leather suits and all) of The Romantics s/t (1980) today........Nemperor Records label with a barcode on the back cover. Man, this thing is cut pretty loud with plenty of midrange, but a fun listen. Do you have this one in your stash @c-eling?
Yesterday I ordered the Warm/Warmer vinyl (had to shell out 75 €, due to enormous shipping rates to Spain). I have also bought The Friday Music black and white swirl vinyl reissue of Sleepwalker (26€ plus 5€ shipping).
