Sunshine - their only LP. With pre-Pretty Things Gordon Edwards & Jack Green. Great stuff. NM record, VG+ sleeve. Bought from Discogs marketplace.
While I don't collect vinyl, I will buy a recording I'm familiar with - or a release with historical significance - when I come across it at a yard sale or Goodwill. Before leaving the States a couple months ago, I bought a copy of Revolver for a $1.50, thinking I'd like to own the album for artwork - if nothing else - regardless of the vinyl's condition, which I presumed to be pretty worn given the cover was secured with masking tape along the length of the bottom edge. It arrived via post with some other personalty yesterday and I pulled it out this morning to discover a lustrous black record with no apparent scratches that plays with a couple crackles (?), but no skips. Lovely. The record and sleeve contain the alphanumeric sequence ST-2576, which discogs appears to correlate with a 1966 US stereo pressing. Is this correct? thanks!/K
Nice Kate, a little more research is going to be needed to track the pressing year down. That US catalog number was passed on through the years https://www.discogs.com/The-Beatles-Revolver/master/45284
Grabbed a few goodies at a local thrift store recently, fifty cents each: Three Dog Night - Cyan Boots Randolph - Yakety Sax Tom Johnston - Everything You've Heard Is True Various Artists - Solid Gold (weird 2-LP charity compilation of hits, circa 1970. Songs apparently sequenced in alphabetical order!) I've only played the Johnston and one side of the compilation so far but everything looks to be in nice condition.
Unfortunately, ever since they changed up the way you share photos on this forum a few years ago, I've been unable to post anything from my photo library. I've posted it on The Who Fan Page on Facebook, though.
Limited Gold Edition Hunky Dory. £14 in Sainsburys. Sounds pretty darn good to these ears and better than my CD from the early 90s.

Okay, having compared enough images on discogs that I could gouge my eyes out ("Where's Waldo" comes to mind), I now realize how dense my initial conclusion based on just the Cat.# must have sounded to vinyl-knowledgeable folks. It looks like 66 v. 68, but I suspect 66 based on the size of the center label "STEREO" print. Thanks c-e!/K
My latest vinyl purchase arrived this morning from amazon.com. It is a fresh repress of Totem One by Master Musicians Of *******. This past Sunday, I picked up the Speakers Corner reissue of Forest Flower by The Charles Lloyd Quartet and a used copy of White Winds by Andreas Vollenweider at Amoeba in Hollywood.
APP - Turn Of A Friendly Card ( Speakers Corner) Styx - The Mission Infernal Majesty - None Shall Defy (Roadrunner) Riot - Fire Down Under ( Audio Fidelity)
