The Velvet Underground - 1969 2 LP set from local record store. I'd been wanting a copy but hadn't seen one in person so grabbed it. Like most new vinyl, it's not very quiet but I'm quite happy to have these mixes on LP. Miles better than VU and Another View. Definitely won't be playing those anymore.

The Dramatics self titled soul album on Stax from about 1972 - a mint reissue, on its way. I heard the “Whatcha see is whatcha get” single from it on an episode of Fargo on Netflix, and thought I really must get the album after all these years.

Well, it’s a month later, and I guess I got the very last one!

What do you think? I think it’s another superb IR effort!

Got a few at the same time, but this was the latest of that batch on the table, Diabolique by L'Épée from last year, Emmanuelle Seigner (Ultra Orange & Emmanuelle), Anton Newcombe (The Brian Jonestown Massacre), Lionel and Marie Liminana (The Limiñanas). Revisits the sound of the really nice last Limiñanas record Shadow People, very cool stuff...

Glad to see there’s plenty still available unlike Look Sharp. But yes, it is a very good sounding pressing.
