    I'll start (of course:D)

I like the shorter songs on Neil Young's "Everybody Knows..." album better than the longer ones. The title track, "Cinnamon Girl" and "The Losing End" are my favorite songs on the album. That solo on "Losing End" with its call out is one of the greatest moments on any NY album

Of the longer ones, "Cowgirl in the Sand" is the better one, the jamming on "Down By the River" with the rhythm guitar on the left and the lead on the right is clumsy and awkward sounding. Both songs are just fine otherwise though

Was there ever a mono version of this album? I'm wondering how that jamming stuff would have sounded that way

Me too, except for the "Europe 72" album, where they were in great form

    Oh so many

Kiss are a good rock band

The Final Cut is a superb Pink Floyd album

The Kinks post 60's material is fantastic as well

The Beatles are a great band, but the hyperbole is deafening

There are some fantastic albums made post 2000

Devin Townsend has a fantastic voice, and his catalog of albums is quite stunning

Nick Cave is one of the greatest artists of all time, and I think his last three or four albums are even more stunning that what came prior.....

Okay, I will accept mass rebuttals now I guess lol

With the exception of a couple of songs here and there, such as "Loving Cup" and "Love in Vain", I think the Stones are terrible at slower ballad type songs, they all drag- Play With Fire, Wild Horses, and especially Angie. Like putting the brakes on every time. I think they are best when they are mean and loud and rocking

I think Van Halen is unmusical and have no songs I'd ever listen to by choice.

The big difference is that you don't need to love the artist to state your unpopular opinion here.

CD's, Vinyl and Streaming are all friends not enemies. :)

More is always better than less. Except in Golf scores. Or running times on CD. :D

Oh, and Revolution 9 is one of the greatest and most daring pop recordings of the 1960's. The fact that this is indeed such an unpopular opinion explains why!

    There. :p

That’s mine as well. I don’t dislike them live but 9 times out of 10 when I feel like some Dead, I reach for a studio album. It was Mars Hotel last night.

Glad to see someone else shares this sentiment haha love Leonard but that song always gets on my nerves...

As for my opinions, I'm not a fan of Nirvana (or any grunge for that matter) or The Band. Huge respect for both, of course.

And for something positive, I love Wilderness-era Fleetwood Mac; Danny Kirwan doesn't get enough credit!
