B&O something.. Original Rega Planar 3 Rega P9 Linn LP12 , three different specs. Still have 2 of them Dohmann Helix 2
Bought a Linn Sondek Valhalla about 23 years ago then bought another one with updates about 16 years ago , had it worked on a few years back so I bought a technics 1200 to replace it , was pleased with that sound but my Linn is back in line and sounding wonderful , set up with an early Mac pre and a modern Musical Fidelity integrated with a pre out , thought it may not work but it really does
As a kid had to share something like this with my sister and brother. As teen I used my dad's Pioneer or Teac. Then I had some TT I don't remember the brand but I moved on to cassettes then CDs. In 2019 I got a Rega Planar 1 which led to a Pioneer PLX-1000 and finally a Technics SL-1200GR.
1. Dual 1209 2. Philips 212 Electric 3. Music Hall mmf-5.3 Not allot but each one was an improvement to me.
Garrard plastic turntable? Linn lp12. Wasted 10 years fettling this supposed masterpiece. Finally gave up! Lenco 75 special build with many tasty extras. Nirvana as far as i'm concerned.

Starting in 1972: DUAL 1214 DUAL 1218 Garrard Zero-100c (Total junk) BIC 980 (Mistake) Pioneer PL-A45D TECHNICS SL-1900 (Still in use today...) BIC 940 (Mistake #2) DUAL CS - Something or other. Cheap belt-drive, silver w/controls on front... Purchased in 1985 or so and subsequently given away some years later DUAL 721 Direct Drive (Wish I still own) DUAL 522 (Still have...not a bad table at all. A lightweight unit, but tracks & sounds great with ORTOFON OM 10 cart) TECHNICS SL-1900 Unit #2 (Bought as a parts unit, but some simple TLC has it running as new...) I see Strat-Mangler asked posters to commment on sound quality improvement or not. My systems have never been so high-end or revealing to such a degree that the turntable itself would produce noticeable differences in the sound. Of course, different carts affect the sound dramatically.
Way back in the day some sort of all in one around 1985. Maybe a Fisher? Lost it in a fire sometime around 1987. Then went cd only until around 2011-12 then went cd and hi-res digital Back to 'tables around 2014? With goodwill POS Then Pro-Ject Carbon something or other demo from MD. Wouldn't keep proper speed. Then settled for U-Turn Orbit cuz I was desperate for a 'table Then 2018? Music Hall mmf7.3 with ortofon 2m bronze I think I'm done with 'tables but will eventually try different carts

1965 - Zenith all-in-one. Yeah, like I could remember the model number and specs. I was very happy. 1972 - Garrard Zero 100; yes, the one with the all-wrong pivoting headshell. Part of the first for-real stereo I bought for myself at a Navy PX overseas. Low-end Shure cart. Obvious upgrade. I was very happy. 1988 - Rega Planar 3. Startling upgrade, which I think had more to do with the MC cart that came with: Sumiko Blue Point Special. Eventually added a Parasound phono pre. I was very happy. 2000 - Sold all my records. Found ways to get digital to perform; ie, DACs. I was very happy. 2010 - Boxed up the Rega. Happiness factor unchanged. 2014 - Finally set up a desktop server that plays all formats and resolutions. Real damn happy.
Mitsubishi LT-20 (I miss this one) VPI Traveler (I don't miss this one) Technics SL-10 (RIP) Technics 1210GR (current)

Starting in 1973: Pye 'Black Box' )A BSR P128 player) 1978-81: Trio KD1033 /Ortofon FF15E. My first venture into 'hifi' 19781: Pioneer PL112D / Ortofon VMS20. A mistake: really susceptible to feedback) 1981-82: Dual CS505-2 / VMS20. Nice deck: best I'd had at the time 1982-2009: Linn LP12: 'Trigger's Broom" (almost every Linn arm & cart, ending with an Ekos 2 / Arkiv 2 / Lingo 2). Got off the merry-go-round when the Keel came out 1991-2007: Systemdek RX900E / Rega RB250. A nice second deck 2005-2007: Origin Live Aurora Gold / Illustrious arm. This was a really nice deck, and I regret letting it go 2007-2008: Luxman PD272: such a beautiful table, and sounded great with a Stanton cart. Unfortunately, needed fettling as speed control was suspect 2007-2010: Inspire Eclipse SE / SME V. A great looking deck, but I never felt the speed control was spot on 2011- present: Trio (Kenwood) L-07D / SME V. My present - and possibly final - deck. Apart from a 'better' arm at some stage, it's just alternative cartridges from now I've loaned a number of others over the years: Rega Planar 3, Roksan, Townshend Rock, some others.
Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB Denon DP-60L I also have a Denon DP-51F in my stash that I'll probably sell eventually. I like the cool older vintage turntables.
BSR, not convinced I was getting all there was from the groove to get. Sold. 4 Duals, all problematic mostly auto features syncing with records. Sold. B & O, auto lift did not sync with most of my records. Sold Sony PS-4750, purchased new 45 years ago, still satisfies. Technics SL-1210GR, purchased to accomodate carts not accommodatable via Sony PS-4750.
turntable history? my parents were given a (I think) Telefunken, like this one in the photo below. It must have been in 1966 or 1968 then, when I was 13/14 years old, I was given a Philips. Orange, with "the detachable cases" it seemed to me that I had the world in my hand ... a few years pass, and I buy the Dual (HS35 ??) I move to Italy, I buy the Thorens TD Then enough. As the CD and CD Players come out I am immediately convinced, I go straight to the Philips CD200. I no longer bought vinyl spinners. ah no, sorry, that's not true. I bought the Rega P1. But I took it for the wife. it is YOU who enjoys it, I hardly ever use it
