Does such a thing actually exist? I just caught the above bit on some Web site (http://www.counterpunch.org/keeney0725.html) and frankly, I had no idea HST had ever written about the album.

Google turns up nothing. Anyone?

 

Is it possible he's confusing Hunter S. Thompson with Lester Bangs?

 

I thought the same at first. But he goes on about HST, and it reads like he's quite convinced about it.
