No, it's still being released. Some people have already received their copies early in the UK via ordering direct from Second Sight. More than likely due to this being a limited set, the big online retailers like ImportCD, Deep Discount, Amazon and so on will not get nearly enough sets to fulfil placed pre-orders. This kind of thing has been happening a lot this year with limited press runs of Blu-Ray/UHD box sets. A lot of people got shut out even though they pre-ordered the big Gamera Blu-ray box set from Arrow a couple months ago.

Last I checked Zavvi and amazon.co.uk were still taking orders.
I have two placed just in case. One through Diabolik and one through Zavvi

US retailers are getting shut out of these (except for Diabolik who seems to have an exclusive distro with Second Sight) and some UK retailers are canceling orders to US customers but no one really knows why. Speculation on blu-ray.com is that the rights holders are playing hardball with distribution outside of the UK.

Thank you for the clarification Partyslammer and jedilips00.
I'll wait for Dawn Of The Dead to be released in 4K in the USA.
    I am happy with the Dawn Blu-Ray I bought in 2010 for $12. :)

This is why I’m not biting. A big expensive box and no 3D? No sale. It’s not like the 3D doesn’t exist. I got the DVD box as well as the blu-ray (still unopened) so I’m not without the movie.

Nice. I thought that version of Les Miserables was interminably slow.

Is that Mad Max under Young Frankenstein?

My 4K is on the way.

watched the theatrical cut with the original mono mix last night, its amazing, and think it never looked this good on home video. Will give the Cannes cut a spin tonight.

Why is this never on tv? They only play the Sara Polley version.

Maybe because it has aged really badly and the Polley version is a lot better.

That's a terrific film, too, but it's no Dawn of the Dead.

    Ahem.

This is such a great set. My backup copy should get here this weekend. Should be easy to unload that.

My copy arrived earlier in the week; it's nice to see all cuts present and getting this treatment. I wouldn't say it's a beautiful picture, because this film is anything but that. But it's the best it's ever looked. Could this be the final word on the film? Arrow does a great job.
