There are a few movies I've watched in their entirety that I only wish I'd had the good sense to turn off after 15 minutes . . .

  4. I’ve never liked Independence Day(well except Bill Pullman)-it’s deriviarive and just not very good. If copyright laws were longer H.G. wells estate would have sued.

My girlfriend wanted to watch it, so I tried, pretty much what you'd expect from a guy who does what he does for a living.

First two parts are the best and essential. Part 3? I used that one as a frisbee.

Every few years I watch ' The Godfather Part 3'.
    It's always terrible.

It's gotten to the point that it's comedic in its awfulness.
There are scenes and lines that always make me laugh now.
Everyone's performance could be nominated for 'worst' performance in this : Garcia, Shire, Wallach, Fonda and , definitely, Pacino.

Yes and yes. I’m so happy Robert Duvall was spared that torture and anguish.

I was the only guy in company of my sibling’s “girlfriends” and was forced into watching the whole thing. But at around the 10 minute mark I was already nodding off. Where’s my Purple Heart, Mr. President, for bravery??:shrug:

A long time ago I turned off Fight Club and Trainspotting very quickly.

I knew it wasn’t for me. These so called ‘cool’ movies with witty dialogue and hyper violence that’s more amusing than unsettling. A director who talks to his inner Tarantino/Ritchie. And Brad Pitt paying his bills/due so he can do projects he really wants.

So I took a chance and wasted about 12 minutes on this movie/anime/something-hybrid.

Two of my absolute favourites. I wish I could go back to the moments when I first saw them. Both were revelations for me.

Most films that are described in the telly listings with "An oddball team of elite (mercenaries/navy seals/marines/etc, etc, etc). I'll give 'em a try but don't hope for much.

As a BeatlesGeek I tried to watch this one and "Yesterday"...

Maybe 20 minutes for each? The forced cutesiness of it all cloyed me to death...

I think both of these movies would be better for folks who actually don't know or even like the Beatles.

i think in a remake of A Clockwork Orange, Alex would be forced to watch Steel Magnolias and The Sisterhood of The Travelling Pants as his therapy.

The sisterhood of the traveling pants is one of my favorite chick flicks. The sequel is even better.
