Which of these 4 bands do you enjoy most ?

1. little Feat
2. The Band
3. The Allman Brothers
4. Steely Dan

All peaked in the late '60s and '70s with a string of great albums. Many were influences on each other during various phases of their careers. Obviously I'd choose Feat however I adore the other 3 as well.

Tough choice between Allman Brothers and Steely Dan. Tonight I waent with Allman Brothers since I have been listening to their alums more frequently lately.

 

The Band for me, but only because I haven't really given the others the attention they deserve. I did see Little Feat a few years back without really being familiar with the material, and I enjoyed it.

 

I went with The Band. The other 3 I like a few songs by but I really enjoy a lot of The Band's catalog, with or without Robertson.

 

Not a big fan of any of them but if I had to pick one it would be the Allman Brothers. Live at the Fillmore and Eat a Peach. I can take the Band in small doses.

All great bands but nobody moves me like the Allman Brothers.

 

I honestly really like all of these bands. I'll give the nod to ABB, just barely ahead of the Dan.

 

Little Feat would easily be #1, then The Allman Brothers, Than The Band (not the hugest Steely Dan fan)

 

I think Pretzel Logic and Feats Don't Fail Me Now are my favorite 1974 releases. Time Loves A Hero has quite a bit of Dan influence especially on Red Steamliner

 

The Band, easy choice. But i don't dislike any of them

 

Steely Dan by a hair over the Allman Brothers.

I am not a fan of the other two.

 

To me this is a case of one of these things doesn't belong here.

Steely Dan just doesn't fit in with the other three.

I voted for the Allman Bros. But that is no disrespect to the other three fine bands. I spun Dixie Chicken by Little Feat last night and it blew me away.
